VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2017 FESTIVAL.
The 3rd Annual Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors will be held September 21-24, 2017. The Festival will include locations in Telluride Mountain Village, the Town of Telluride and the Telluride Regional Airport. If you would like to be a part of this exciting event, please read a little bit about how it works and then fill out an “Application Form” using the link provided below.
Age Requirements: In most cases, you must be 18 years or older to be a volunteer.
Application: You must submit an application online.
Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors will not be providing food during your shift, please make sure to come prepared. Water stations will be provided throughout all the venues so you may want to bring a water bottle.
You will have an option to work one 6 hour shift and receive a 1 day Festival Ticket or several shifts totaling 18 hours for a 4 Day Festival Pass.
Shifts could include days leading up to or after the Festival, depending on your availability.
A mandatory Volunteer meeting will be scheduled for Thursday, September 21st in the afternoon (time and location TBD). Please keep this in mind if you are traveling to Telluride. At this meeting you will pick up your festival pass, your volunteer swag and meet your venue manager.
Unless you are scheduled for shifts before the Festival begins, your shift schedule will not be available until September 15, 2017.
Please be prepared for inclement weather during your shifts.
The Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors will not require a volunteer deposit for your pass or ticket but, PLEASE remember that WE NEED YOU! So, please show up for your shift(s).
Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors does have limited RV parking available.
These sites are primitive (NO SERVICES: NO Dumping, NO Electric, NO Water, NO Trash Receptacles) so RV’s must be self contained for your length of stay. Space is limited and spots must be reserved prior to the Festival. RV’s may be parked from Wednesday evening (Sept 28) to Monday morning (Oct 3). The Town of Telluride also has a “first-come, first-served” campground or you can check out available lodging options through our Lodging Partners.
Volunteer Acknowledgement and Release
In return for being permitted to participate as a volunteer at the Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors, I assume all risks associated with my participation. I agree that I, any member of my family, any legal representative and all those claiming through me, release, waive, hold harmless and agree not to make claims against any company or municipality, including but not limited to, RASR Productions, LLC dba Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors, The Town of Telluride, The Town of Mountain Village, the Telluride Regional Airport, the County of San Miguel or any others associated with the Festival.
I hereby grant Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors, without limitation, the use of my likeness in all media including, but not limited to; all social media, photography, print ads, television and video.
I have fully read this Acknowledgement and Release; fully understand its contents and sign of my own free will.
