Cars & Colors Medallion Hunt
The Winner of the 2016 Cars & Colors Medallion Hunt and the recipient of the $500 cash prize sponsored by Property Management of Telluride was Sheri Worth.
Sheri followed the clues below and located the Cars & Colors Medallion. For her efforts, Sheri was rewarded with a $500 cash prize sponsored by Property Management of Telluride!
First Medallion Clue:
To find the medallion you must search low and high
Pedestrians will often cast an eye.
The elevation is higher, but not much drier.
Second Medallion Clue:
It takes a village, and that’s for sure.
To find the medallion will be the cure.
You need to look where it all began, the spot is hard, but under hand.
Third Medallion Clue:
By now your search has brought you to the core.
If you look hard there, you will find the medallion for sure.
Think early history and the men who mined.
A wealth of riches were there to find.
It’s hammer time now, so get to it fast.
Be the first one there, or the medallion will be past.
Sheri exchanged the Medallion for her cash prize winnings at the Cars & Colors Alpenglow event at the Peaks Resort on Sunday afternoon. The Alpenglow event was sponsored by US Bank Private Client Reserve, Ascent and Jet Linx.
Sheri’s 1956 Mercedes was staged on the Concours during the Cars & Colors Festival.

Open to all 2017 4 Day Festival Pass Holders; Explore Telluride’s rich history and spectacular setting while following clues to the official Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors bronze Medallion (Hand crafted by Reflections in Metal of Cortez, CO specifically for the Festival), hidden somewhere within the confines of the Festival venues. Each day at the Morning Revv (location TBD), a different, and increasingly more specific, clue will be given as to the Medallions whereabouts. There will be a cash prize for whoever locates the medallion first. The winner will be announced on Sunday afternoon at the Alpenglow event (location TBD).
